Trust & Safety Guidelines

  • Each day, numerous minutes of educational content are consumed on Edulenza, thanks to dedicated instructors and eager students. Edulenza is built on the foundation of sharing knowledge, empowering experts to provide a top-notch learning experience for a global student community.

  • At Edulenza, it is essential for everyone – instructors, students, and the Edulenza team – to embody these values. By upholding these values, we foster a thriving online marketplace where learning is accessible and enjoyable for all.
    Who makes up our community?
Students: Our students seek engaging learning experiences on Edulenza, gaining access to a wide range of topics taught by real-world experts who are skilled practitioners.
Instructors: Our instructors are passionate educators who choose Edulenza to reach millions of students worldwide, utilizing the platform’s tools, resources, and support to create high-quality courses.
    What are the guidelines?

  • Avoid spamming
Students rely on Edulenza for a safe and enriching learning environment, while instructors teach to share knowledge. Instructors should refrain from promoting other products or inundating each other with unsolicited requests and offers once they are part of the Edulenza community.

  • It is important for instructors not to steer Edulenza students away from the platform, try to find ways to bend the rules, or exploit any loopholes in the policies. The goal is for our community of students to thrive, just like any other instructor would want. When you try to manipulate the system, it negatively impacts the entire community by depriving them of a shared pool of engaged students who genuinely want to learn. As for students, it is crucial not to harass instructors, ask for free coupons, or offer reviews in exchange for favors. The community relies on a healthy interaction between students and instructors, as well as honest feedback from students to determine which courses are suitable for them.

  • Our instructors actively collaborate and communicate with each other, fostering healthy and lively discussions throughout the course-taking experience. We kindly request that everyone maintains a professional, honest, and considerate approach when communicating with students, instructors, and Edulenza staff. We are dedicated to providing a platform that is free from any form of harassment. It is important to be a positive member of the Edulenza community by refraining from asking for personal information, making unwanted or unsolicited contact outside of the platform, or claiming someone else’s work as your own.

Community Guideliness

  • In a diverse community of instructors from different countries, cultures, and languages, it is essential for everyone to adhere to a set of guidelines. These rules apply to all community members, whether they are new instructors or Udemy moderators, and they are in addition to Edulenza’s Instructor Terms and Conditions and our Pricing and Promotions policies.
  • Here are the things that are encouraged in the community: asking questions when you can’t find existing resources, offering help and friendly advice, providing constructive feedback to your peers while maintaining respect, assuming positive intentions from others, being respectful towards each other, and having a sense of humor to create a fun community.

  • On the other hand, there are certain things that are not allowed in the community: promoting personal Edulenza courses or other materials, sharing or asking for personal information about students or instructors, derailing conversations or changing the subject without starting a new post, using offensive language or making derogatory comments about appearances and clothes, and making personal attacks based on race, gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, or other personal identities.

  • It is important to note that while we enforce these guidelines, we do not exercise editorial control over the conversations that take place in the community. We cannot guarantee the accuracy or validity of the information shared among instructors.

Instructor Code of Conduct

1. Edulenza, a popular online learning platform, aims to bring people together through knowledge. In order to create an inclusive and diverse learning environment, instructors are expected to adhere to Edulenza’s values both on and off the platform to ensure a safe and welcoming space for all users.

2. Instructors who are found to be involved in activities that could harm user trust may undergo a review of their account status. This includes engaging in criminal behavior, promoting hate speech, or spreading false information.

3. When investigating claims of instructor misconduct, Edulenza’s Trust & Safety Team considers various factors such as the severity of the offense, any legal actions taken, patterns of concerning behavior, and efforts towards rehabilitation. The goal is to assess the impact on learners and the overall platform.

4. At Edulenza, it is recognized that everyone can make mistakes. The focus is on providing access to education for individuals worldwide to improve their lives. Any inquiries into instructor conduct are aimed at evaluating the ongoing effects on learners and the platform as a whole.

If you come across anything that seems like a violation or if you are unsure about a policy, please don’t hesitate to report it directly or reach out to us via email at contact@Edulenza.com. Our team will thoroughly review every report and determine whether there has been a breach of our policies. We are here to assist you in understanding our policies and ensuring your success on Edulenza.

Restricted Topic Guidelines

  • Edulenza has guidelines on what content can be published, excluding topics that are inappropriate, harmful, or offensive to learners. Instructors have control over their courses but must adhere to Edulenza’s policies and quality standards during the Quality Review Process.

  • Instructors should consult the Trust & Safety team before creating content on specific topics, providing detailed information. The team can offer guidance on minor adjustments, but extensive coaching is not available.

  • It is crucial for instructors to align their courses with Edulenza’s policies to be considered for Edulenza Business, as business customers may have different sensitivities. All content and presentation should be suitable for a professional audience to be eligible for Edulenza Business.

  • Topics related to sexuality are restricted on our platform. This means that sexually explicit content or content that implies sexual activity is not allowed. We also do not publish courses that provide instruction on sexual performance or technique. However, content that focuses on reproductive health and intimate relationships is allowed as long as it is free of explicit or suggestive material. It is important to note that this restriction also applies to nudity and attire in courses.

  • Nudity is only permitted in courses when it is essential for learning within an artistic, medical, or academic context. Attire should be appropriate for the subject area being taught and should not unnecessarily emphasize exposed body parts. For example, fine art and figure drawing, anatomical illustrations, and medical footage or demonstrations are allowed. However, courses on boudoir photography, naked yoga, or body art are not allowed.

  • Content on dating and relationships, such as attraction, flirtation, and courtship, is not allowed on our platform. However, courses on long-term relationships are allowed as long as they comply with all of Edulenza’s policies, including those regarding sexuality and discriminatory language. For example, marital counseling, general discussions of intimacy within a course focused on strengthening overall relationships, and self-confidence to be ready for dating are allowed. However, courses that involve stereotyping on gender roles or seduction techniques are not allowed.

  • In order to cater to the diverse range of learners on our global learning platform, we need to be mindful of sensitive or inappropriate topics and language. It is important to not only consider the subject matter being discussed, but also how it is presented. When creating instructional materials for sensitive subjects, it is crucial to handle them with care and avoid using language or imagery that may be offensive, inflammatory, or insensitive.

  • Edulenza is currently not designed to support learners who are underage. Individuals who have not reached the age of consent, such as 13 in the US or 16 in Ireland, are not permitted to use our services. If a person is between the ages of 18 and the age of consent, they can only use our services if their parent or guardian creates their account, manages their enrollments, and oversees their account usage. Therefore, it is important to clearly market any content aimed at young students to their parents or guardians who will be supervising their learning. For more information, please refer to Section 1 of Edulenza’s Terms of Use.

  • We reserve the right to update and expand the list of prohibited content at any time. If you come across any content that you believe should not be on our platform, please make use of the Report Abuse feature to flag it.
