The following Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Edulenza (“Edulenza”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It is important that you carefully read and understand these Terms, as they define your legal rights, obligations, and remedies in relation to your use of our Services.

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Edulenza website, mobile applications, live classes, pre-recorded courses, subscription plans, or any related features or services (collectively, the “Services”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.


Mission & Platform Purpose

At Edulenza, our mission is to enhance lives and promote knowledge through accessible, practical, and high-quality learning experiences. We empower individuals to create, share, and consume educational content, whether as instructors contributing to the platform or as learners seeking to expand their skills and knowledge. Our marketplace-based learning model enables the delivery of valuable educational resources to a diverse and growing community

Scope of These Terms

To ensure a safe, transparent, and enriching experience for all users, including students and instructors, Edulenza has established rules, policies, and guidelines governing the use of the platform. These Terms apply to all activities conducted on the Edulenza website, mobile applications, and related services and features.


Incorporation of Other Policies

If you choose to publish or offer a course on the platform, you must also comply with our Instructor Terms, which apply in addition to these Terms.Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping / Delivery Policy, and any other applicable Edulenza policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference and form an integral part of this agreement.

To ensure a safe, transparent, and enriching experience for all users, including students and instructors, Edulenza has established rules, policies, and guidelines governing the use of the platform. These Terms apply to all activities conducted on the Edulenza website, mobile applications, and related services and features.

Please note that Edulenza may engage trusted third-party service providers to support platform operations, including hosting, analytics, communications, and payment processing. As a result, our website and applications may transmit limited technical or usage-related data to such providers in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to such data processing.

    • 1. Accounts

    To access most features and Services offered by Edulenza, you must create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe that your account has been accessed without authorization, you must notify Edulenza’s Support Team immediately.


    Account creation and maintenance are required to purchase courses, access content, participate in live classes, submit content for publication, or use other platform features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details updated at all times, including a valid email address.


    You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for all actions taken through your account, whether authorized or unauthorized. Edulenza shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

    Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not share, sell, assign, or permit others to access or use your account. Access to an account will only be granted to the verified account holder upon sufficient proof of ownership. In the event of a user’s death, the account shall be closed and access terminated.

    Sharing login credentials is strictly prohibited. You remain fully responsible for any consequences arising from such sharing, including misuse of content or Services.

    To create and independently operate an Edulenza account, users must be at least 18 years of age. Users below 18 years but above the minimum legal age for online consent in their jurisdiction may access certain content only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Minors are strictly prohibited from creating instructor accounts, and any such violation may result in immediate account termination.


    Edulenza reserves the right to request identity verification from instructors or instructor applicants in accordance with the Instructor Terms.

    You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions provided on the platform. Additional information regarding account deletion and data handling is available in our Privacy Policy.


    2. Content Enrollment and Access

    When you enroll in a course or other educational content on Edulenza, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and view the content solely through the Edulenza platform. Content is licensed, not sold.


    Under the Instructor Terms, instructors grant Edulenza the right to host and distribute their content. Upon enrollment, Edulenza grants you permission to access such content exclusively via the platform. Edulenza is the licensor of record, and instructors are not authorized to grant licenses directly to students.

    Unless otherwise specified, course enrollment generally includes continued access to the content for as long as it remains available on the platform. References to “lifetime access” mean access for the commercial lifetime of the course on Edulenza, subject to legal, technical, or policy-based limitations.


    You may access enrolled content only for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. You are strictly prohibited from copying, downloading, recording, reproducing, distributing, selling, sublicensing, or sharing any content, in whole or in part, unless explicitly permitted in writing by Edulenza. 

    Edulenza reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or revoke access to any content if required by law, platform policy, or contractual obligations. Such revocation does not entitle users to refunds except as expressly stated in the Refund Policy.

    Live Events / courses

    From time to time, Edulenza or authorized instructors may host live classes, workshops, or events (“Live Events”). Participation in Live Events may require the purchase of tickets or enrollment access (“Tickets”). A binding contract for a Live Event is formed once you receive a confirmation of successful payment.

    By submitting payment details, you authorize Edulenza and its payment service providers to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method. Additional charges, such as taxes, currency conversion fees, or bank charges, may apply and are your responsibility.

    All Live Event prices are displayed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR ₹). If you access an Event from outside India, you are solely responsible for any applicable currency conversion or international transaction fees.

    Tickets for Live Events are non-refundable once the Event has commenced. If a Live Event is cancelled by Edulenza, a full refund will be issued in accordance with the Refund Policy. Tickets constitute a revocable license to attend the Event and are subject to compliance with event rules and conduct guidelines. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Event without refund.

    3. Payments, Credits, and Refunds

    3.1 Pricing

    The prices of courses, content, and Services offered on Edulenza are determined in accordance with our Instructor Terms, Promotions Policy, and internal pricing guidelines. Prices may vary between the Edulenza website and mobile applications due to differences in platform fees, pricing structures, or promotional policies of third-party app marketplaces.

    Edulenza may offer promotional pricing, discounts, or sales for a limited duration. The price displayed at the time of checkout is the final and applicable price for your purchase. Certain promotions may be restricted to specific users, regions, or time periods, including offers exclusive to new users

    All prices on the platform are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR ₹). Where applicable, taxes (including GST or other statutory levies) will be included in the listed price or added at checkout in accordance with Indian law

    3.2 Payments

    By purchasing or subscribing to any content or Service on Edulenza, you agree to pay the applicable fees and authorize Edulenza and its authorized payment service providers (including Razorpay) to charge your selected payment method.

    Edulenza accepts multiple payment methods and uses secure third-party payment processors to handle transactions. Edulenza does not store your complete payment card or banking information.

    If a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back, you agree to settle the outstanding amount within 30 days of notification. Failure to do so may result in suspension or restriction of access to the purchased content or Services until payment is successfully completed

    3.2 Payments

    Edulenza maintains a limited refund policy, subject to the conditions below:

    a) Live Courses

    • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase and before the live course or session has commenced

    • No refunds will be provided once the live course has started or has been attended, in full or in part

    b) Pre-Recorded Courses

    • Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of purchase

    • Refunds will not be granted if:

      • More than 20% of the course content has been accessed

      • Course materials have been downloaded

      • Usage logs indicate substantial consumption of content

    c) Subscription Plans

      Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law

    Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. In certain cases, Edulenza may issue refund credits for future purchases. Such credits are non-transferable, may have an expiry date, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

    Abuse of the refund process, including excessive or fraudulent refund requests, may result in denial of future refunds, suspension of account privileges, or termination of the account.


    3.4 Gift Cards and Promotional Codes

    Gift cards, vouchers, and promotional codes issued by Edulenza or its partners may be redeemed subject to their specific terms and conditions. Such credits may expire if not used within the stated validity period and are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law.

    Codes issued by third-party partners are subject to the partner’s terms and refund policies. Edulenza reserves the right to determine how multiple promotional credits may be applied to a single transaction.

    4. Content and User Conduct Rules

    Edulenza is committed to maintaining a safe, lawful, and respectful learning environment. All users are required to use the platform in compliance with these Terms, applicable laws, and Edulenza’s Trust & Safety Guidelines.

    Lawful Use

    You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

    User Responsibility

    You are solely responsible for the content you upload, publish, or share on the platform and for your conduct while using the Services. This includes ensuring that you do not violate intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal obligations.

    Instructor Responsibilities

    Instructors are responsible for ensuring that their courses, materials, and interactions comply with applicable laws and platform policies. Instructors must not submit content that infringes third-party rights or violates legal or ethical standards.

    Enforcement and Moderation

    Edulenza reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, remove, restrict, or disable access to any content or account if we believe there has been a violation of these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies, or if required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

    Account Termination

    If your account is suspended or terminated, access to Services may be restricted or revoked. Certain content associated with your account may remain accessible on the platform as permitted by law. Edulenza shall not be liable for any losses or consequences arising from such actions.

    Copyright and Intellectual Property Infringement

    If you believe that your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights have been infringed, you may report the issue to Edulenza. We take infringement claims seriously and will take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws and our Intellectual Property Policy.

    Edulenza’s enforcement decisions are discretionary and intended to protect the integrity, safety, and lawful operation of the platform.


    5. Edulenza’s Rights to Content You Post

    When you submit, upload, publish, or otherwise make content available on Edulenza, including courses, videos, materials, comments, reviews, or other user-generated content (“User Content”), you retain ownership of such content.

    However, by posting User Content on the platform, you grant Edulenza a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, modify, adapt, translate, promote, and otherwise use such User Content solely for the purposes of operating, improving, marketing, and providing the Services.

    This license includes the right to promote your content through Edulenza’s marketing channels, including but not limited to the website, mobile applications, emails, social media, advertisements, and third-party platforms, without additional compensation to you.

    You represent and warrant that:

    • You own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit the User Content

    • Your User Content does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights of any third party

    • Your User Content complies with applicable laws and Edulenza policies

    Edulenza does not claim ownership over your User Content and does not assume responsibility for its accuracy, legality, or quality. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to remove or restrict access to User Content that violates these Terms or applicable laws


    6. Using Edulenza at Your Own Risk

    When you submit, upload, publish, or otherwise make content available on Edulenza, including courses, videos, materials, comments, reviews, or other user-generated content (“User Content”), you retain ownership of such content.

    However, by posting User Content on the platform, you grant Edulenza a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, modify, adapt, translate, promote, and otherwise use such User Content solely for the purposes of operating, improving, marketing, and providing the Services.

    This license includes the right to promote your content through Edulenza’s marketing channels, including but not limited to the website, mobile applications, emails, social media, advertisements, and third-party platforms, without additional compensation to you.

    You represent and warrant that:

    • You own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit the User Content

    • Your User Content does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights of any third party

    • Your User Content complies with applicable laws and Edulenza policies

    Edulenza does not claim ownership over your User Content and does not assume responsibility for its accuracy, legality, or quality. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to remove or restrict access to User Content that violates these Terms or applicable laws


    7. Edulenza’s Rights

    Edulenza owns and retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, Services, website, mobile applications, software, APIs, databases, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, and all content created or provided by Edulenza (“Edulenza IP”).

    All Edulenza IP is protected by applicable Indian copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted under these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any portion of the Services or Edulenza IP without prior written consent.

    You may not use the Edulenza name, logo, trademarks, or branding elements without explicit authorization.

    Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding Edulenza or the Services are voluntary and may be used by Edulenza without restriction or compensation to you.

    Prohibited Activities

    While using the Services, you agree not to:

    • Access or attempt to access non-public areas of the platform or Edulenza’s systems

    • Interfere with, disable, or bypass security-related features

    • Copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code or proprietary data

    • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access the platform without permission

    • Upload malware, deceptive information, or engage in activities that disrupt the Services or other users

    Violation of these restrictions may result in suspension or termination of your account and may expose you to legal liability.

    8.Subscription Terms

    This section sets out the additional terms applicable to subscription-based offerings provided by Edulenza (“Subscription Plans”). By purchasing or using a Subscription Plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms in addition to the general Terms of Use.

    8.1 Subscription Plans

    Subscription Plans grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and view the content included in the applicable plan through the Services, subject to these Terms.

    The access rights granted under a Subscription Plan differ from individual course purchases and do not include lifetime access. Access remains valid only for the active subscription period.

    Subscription Plans may include access to interactive tools, environments, or workspaces (“Interactive Sessions”), which may be provided or supported by third-party service providers. Your use of such Interactive Sessions is subject to the applicable third-party terms and conditions, and Edulenza shall not be responsible for third-party services.

    The features, scope, pricing, and availability of Subscription Plans are determined at the time of purchase or renewal. Subscription Plans are personal and may not be shared, transferred, assigned, or resold.

    Edulenza reserves the right to revoke or modify access to content included in a Subscription Plan if required by law, contractual obligations, or platform policies, including where Edulenza no longer has the right to offer such content.

    Edulenza owns and retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, Services, website, mobile applications, software, APIs, databases, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, and all content created or provided by Edulenza (“Edulenza IP”).

    8.2 Subscription Account Management

    You may cancel your Subscription Plan at any time through the account settings or by contacting Edulenza Support. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which access to subscription content will terminate.

    Cancellation of a Subscription Plan does not delete or terminate your Edulenza user account.

    Except where required by applicable law, no refunds or credits will be issued for subscription fees already paid.

    8.3 Payments, Billing, and Auto-Renewal

    Subscription fees, billing frequency, and applicable taxes are disclosed at the time of purchase. All fees are charged in Indian Rupees (INR ₹), and applicable taxes may be added as required by law.

    By subscribing, you authorize Edulenza and its payment service providers to automatically charge your selected payment method at the beginning of each billing period unless you cancel prior to renewal.

    If a payment fails, is reversed, or is subject to a chargeback, Edulenza may suspend or terminate your subscription access until payment issues are resolved. Repeated failed payments or chargebacks may result in account restrictions or termination.

    Edulenza reserves the right to modify Subscription Plans, pricing, or features with reasonable prior notice. Continued use of the Subscription Plan after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.


    8.4 Interactive Session Restrictions

    When using Interactive Sessions, you agree not to:

    • Use the sessions for any purpose other than the intended educational use

    • Provide unauthorized access to third parties

    • Disrupt, interfere with, or misuse the Services or other users’ experience

    Violation of these restrictions may result in suspension or termination of access to Interactive Sessions or the Subscription Plan.

    Edulenza owns and retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, Services, website, mobile applications, software, APIs, databases, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, and all content created or provided by Edulenza (“Edulenza IP”).

    8.5 Subscription Disclaimers

    Edulenza does not guarantee the availability of any specific content, instructor, feature, or minimum quantity of content within a Subscription Plan. Content offerings may change over time.

    Edulenza reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Subscription Plans at its discretion and is not responsible for storing or preserving user-generated content or data associated with discontinued plans, except as required by law.


    9. Miscellaneous Legal Terms

    9.1 Binding Agreement

    By accessing or using the Services, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Edulenza. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such organization.

    In the event of any inconsistency between translated versions of these Terms, the English version shall prevail.


    9.2 Disclaimers

    The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Edulenza makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, accuracy, or suitability of the Services.

    Edulenza may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or Service at any time and shall not be liable for interruptions or unavailability caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure events.


    9.3 Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Edulenza shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

    Edulenza’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Edulenza in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or ₹10,000 INR, whichever is lower.


    9.4 Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Edulenza, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

    This obligation survives termination of your account or these Terms.

    9.5 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.


    9.6 Legal Notices

    All legal notices or communications must be made in writing and may be sent by registered post or official email to the addresses provided by Edulenza.


    9.7 Relationship Between the Parties

    Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and Edulenza.


    9.8 Assignment

    You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without prior written consent from Edulenza. Edulenza may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.

    Your account is personal and shall terminate upon your death.


    10. Dispute Resolution

    10.1 Informal Resolution First

    In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services (“Dispute”), both you and Edulenza agree to first attempt to resolve the Dispute informally and in good faith.

    The party raising the Dispute must provide written notice to the other party describing the nature of the issue and the proposed resolution. Both parties shall make reasonable efforts to resolve the Dispute within 30 days of receipt of such notice.


    10.2 Arbitration

    If the Dispute is not resolved through informal discussions within the specified period, the Dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration, in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

    • The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties
    • The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
    • The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in the English language
    • The arbitral award shall be final, binding, and enforceable in accordance with applicable law

    10.3 Court Jurisdiction for Interim Relief

    Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking interim or injunctive relief from a competent court in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where such relief is necessary to protect intellectual property rights, confidential information, or to prevent irreparable harm.


    10.4 No Class or Representative Actions

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, all Disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis only. You agree not to bring or participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against Edulenza.


    10.5 Costs and Fees

    Each party shall bear its own legal costs and expenses associated with arbitration, unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator in accordance with applicable law.


    10.6 Limitation Period

    Any Dispute must be initiated within one (1) year from the date on which the cause of action arose, failing which the claim shall be deemed waived to the extent permitted by law.

    11. Changes to This Policy

    Edulenza reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time to reflect changes in legal requirements, business practices, or platform features.

    Where changes are material, Edulenza will provide reasonable notice through the website, email communication, or within the Services. Continued access to or use of the Services after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

    If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services.
